The American Philosophical Society (APS) is seeking a highly organized and professional Events Manager to join its Programs Team. The Events Manager will play a key role in advancing the APS’s mission of promoting useful knowledge by ensuring the seamless end-to-end planning and execution of a series of the APS’s highest profile events including it biannual Meetings (large multi-day symposiums), on-site and off-site private special events (small-to-medium sized gatherings for both internal and external APS stakeholders), and on-site rental events. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Programs Team to match program vision, content, and audience with event design.
The Berman Museum Director sets the vision and establishes priorities for the Berman Museum of Art, connecting the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and programs to the academic mission of Ursinus College. The Berman has a Permanent Collection of over 8,000 works of art. The Museum Director oversees all aspects of museum operations and serves as the primary ambassador for the Berman both on campus and in the broader Philadelphia region.

The Manager of Education & Artistic Operations is responsible for all administrative tasks related to the design, development, execution, and maintenance of nearly all ASA educational programming. They are also responsible for working closely with the Director of Artistic Planning & Operations on executing events outside the realm of education, including working closely with guest artists, composers, and conductors to facilitate smooth visits. This person is additionally expected to build and maintain relationships with arts professionals, community groups, and educational institutions in the Lehigh Valley that strengthen the ASA’s impact in this region. This position is the primary staff liaison to the Board of Director’s Education/Schadt Competition Committee and the ASA’s Latin Leadership Committee.

The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society (PCMS), founded in 1986, is among the largest chamber music presenters in North America and welcomes audiences of all ages and backgrounds to experience the artistry of more than 200 world-class musicians and ensembles during its 50-concert season between October and May each year. PCMS seeks a full-time Education and Community Partnerships Manager who will work to deepen connections among artists, audiences, schools, and communities throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.
The Arden Theatre Company’s Building Supervisor position is a part-time position responsible for supporting the use, maintenance, and management of all Arden’s facility systems and operations. The position will manage and maintain the facility systems at all three of Arden’s properties, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, security, and others. The position will support the General Management operations. The position is estimated at approximately 25 hours weekly.
