The Building Engineer coordinates and controls a range of sophisticated, stand-alone electrical, mechanical, and digital building control systems. YA is looking for a dynamic, mission-driven individual to join our team as an Email and Social Media Specialist. This position is a chance to be part of a small team making amazing things happen in schools and will give you an opportunity to build an impressive portfolio or add to an existing one.
YA markets to educators, educational leaders, school volunteers, other school-based personnel, and individual and institutional donors. Email is our most effective tool, with 80% of our clients connecting with us through a desktop computer. In this vital role, you will maintain the integrity of the YA brand by running effective email marketing campaigns and developing and executing engaging social media content. The role reports to and provides essential support to the Director of Marketing and PR, and interfaces with the Programming and Development departments.
The Artist Services Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining productive work relationships with the YA roster of teaching artists (independent contractors) that represent diverse artistic disciplines and offer performance, hands-on workshops and residencies for PreK-12 Students, and professional development for teachers during the school day.
Reports To: MSO Artistic Director and Conductor
FLSA Status: Part-time: 2-3 hours/week, non-exempt, hourly position, 9 months/year
Salary: Flat fee of $125 per rehearsal, $50 per additional hour
When: Tuesdays from 5:15 – 7:45pm, September through the end of May. There are 2-3 concerts per year on Saturdays.
