The Nelly Berman School of Music/NBSCMI in Haverford, PA is seeking a warm, organized, and dependable full-time Administrative Assistant to become an important member of our team.
This is much more than an office position. It is an opportunity to build a rewarding long-term career in arts administration while helping students and families become part of a vibrant musical community.
Founded in 1983, the Nelly Berman School of Music has been providing exceptional classical music education for more than 40 years. We proudly serve students of all ages, from 5 to 85, and welcome students of all levels—from beginners discovering music for the first time to highly accomplished young musicians pursuing advanced goals.
At Nelly Berman School of Music, we believe every student deserves outstanding instruction and the opportunity to develop their musical abilities. While some of our students go on to study music at colleges and conservatories, major or minor in music, or continue performing throughout their lives, our mission is to provide every student with strong musical skills, discipline, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
You will work closely with the School Director and our dedicated faculty in a lively, fast-paced environment, supporting talented students as they prepare for performances, competitions, recitals, and concerts, while helping ensure the smooth daily operation of the school.
Our affiliated nonprofit organization, the Nelly Berman School Classical Music Institute (NBSCMI), is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1994 to support gifted and hardworking students through a merit-based scholarship program, provide support for chamber groups and ensembles, and present high-level concerts, masterclasses, and educational programs for the greater Philadelphia community.
If you enjoy working with people, thrive in an organized environment, communicate well, and would like to contribute to an organization with a meaningful mission, we would love to hear from you.
