POSITION OVERVIEW

As Development & Community Manager, you’ll partner closely with the Executive Director to advance fundraising, strengthen community relationships, develop programs, coordinate communications, and help move our capital campaign and organization forward. Your work will directly influence how donors, volunteers, partners, and the community experience The Pearl.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Grow Philanthropic Relationships

Support the day-to-day execution of the capital campaign and annual fund through donor cultivation, stewardship, solicitation support, and relationship management while maintaining your own portfolio of mid-level and annual donors.

Secure Grant Funding

Lead the grants calendar from research through submission and reporting, preparing compelling proposals and ensuring every deadline and reporting requirement is met.

Tell The Pearl’s Story

Help shape communications across social media, email marketing, print materials, website content, and campaign collateral to inspire support and engagement.

Build Community Connections

Serve as a welcoming ambassador by cultivating relationships with donors, volunteers, civic organizations, community partners, and visitors.

Develop Programing

Work with the Executive Director to develop and cultivate partnerships and execute programming that advances the organization’s mission and supports fundraising efforts.

Keep the Momentum Moving

Maintain accurate donor records, acknowledgements, reporting, website updates, and coordination with technology partners while supporting events and volunteer engagement.
