Philadelphia Theatre Company (PTC) is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Box Office Associate to join our Patron Services team.
Reporting to the Marketing & Box Office Manager, the Box Office Associate plays an essential role in creating an exceptional patron experience before, during, and after every performance. This position assists patrons with ticket purchases, exchanges, subscriptions, rentals, and general inquiries while ensuring accurate ticketing operations through Tessitura.
This is a highly visible, occasionally high volume, public-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Evening and weekend availability is required throughout PTC's production season.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The position is primarily based at Philadelphia Theatre Company's Box Office inside the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (480 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia).
The role requires frequent interaction with patrons and collaboration with Front of House staff during performances. Some standing, walking between the box office and lobby, and lifting light office materials may be required.

This is a part-time hourly position.

COMPENSATION
This is a seasonal, part-time position with an hourly rate of $16–$18 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Expected Start Date
The anticipated start date for this position is September 1, 2026. The successful candidate should be available to complete onboarding and training in advance of the start of PTC's 2026/27 Season and the opening of Liberation.
