ASSISTANT CURATOR OF SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Woodmere Art Museum seeks an energetic, creative, and collaborative Assistant Curator of School Programs to help shape one of the region's most dynamic museum education departments. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire thousands of students each year through meaningful encounters with original works of art while developing innovative educational experiences that connect creativity, inquiry, and learning.
Working closely with the Curator of Education, the Assistant Curator serves as a key partner in developing, implementing, and evaluating school programs across Woodmere's Smith Hall and Maguire Hall campuses. The successful candidate will combine a passion for teaching with strong organizational skills to build relationships with schools, support a vibrant community of museum docents and teaching artists, and advance the museum's mission of making art accessible, engaging, and relevant for every learner. This position is ideal for an experienced educator who enjoys balancing direct teaching with program development and is excited to create memorable learning experiences rooted in the art and artists of Philadelphia.
