Position Summary
The Managing Director (MD) serves as the senior administrative and operational leader of Community Music School (CMS), overseeing the day-to-day operations, financial administration, marketing implementation, facility management, and organizational systems that support the mission and programs of the School.
Reporting directly to the Executive Artistic Director, the Managing Director works collaboratively with staff, faculty, Board members, volunteers, and community partners to ensure efficient and effective organizational operations and an exceptional experience for students, families, faculty, and patrons.
This is a full-time exempt position requiring flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events. Expected hours are minimum 35 hours per week. This position is primarily in-person, located in Trappe, Pa.

Salary Range: $50,000–$55,000, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: While CMS does not currently offer medical benefits, our benefits package includes three weeks of paid vacation, flexible work schedule, a 3% SIMPLE IRA employer match, family lesson discounts, paid time off for all major holidays, and paid closure between Christmas and New Year's Day.
