Community Arts Center

Community Arts Center (CAC) is seeking a creative, enthusiastic teaching artist to lead youth visual arts classes during our Winter 2027 semester (mid January - mid March). This is an excellent opportunity for an educator with experience in drawing, cartooning, comics, animation, illustration, or related visual arts disciplines who enjoys working with children and teens. Although we have a particular need for Winter 2027, there are other oppotunities to teach here in the future as well.

The selected instructor may choose to:

  • Teach and adapt CAC's existing Cartooning, Comics, and Animation courses, or
  • Develop original courses of their own design, provided they serve the same age groups and fit within the existing class schedule.
  • We are particularly interested in instructors who can engage students ages 9-18 through drawing, storytelling, character design, animation, comics, digital art, illustration, or related creative media, but we are open to other proposals.
